COOKING WITH OLIVIA - SCRAMBLED EGGS

OLIVIA SHOWS US HOW TO COOK UP A PLATE OF SCRAMBLED EGGS

There are many, many, wonderful things about eggs:
  • Inexpensive
  • 6 grams of high quality protein
  • 50% of your daily intake of B12
  • Pleasing shape
  • Source of Vit D
  • Can be hard or soft boiled
Another really great thing about eggs is that they are easy to cook. One easy variation is commonly known as 'scrambled'. It may sound a bit..off-putting...trust us, it is delicious.
In the following video Olivia shows us how easy it is to prepare 'Scrambled' eggs.

Many other condiments can be applied to the cooked eggs - hot sauce is one. Ketchup, but that was already shown in the video. Ok, it looks like only ketchup and hot sauce. Enjoy.

COOKING WITH OLIVIA - PUDDING SUPREME

OLIVIA SHOWS US HOW TO MAKE "PUDDING SUPREME"

Pine Tree Press | Cooking

One thing little hands can make without much adult supervision is pudding. Specifically - instant pudding.
There happened to be one strange looking box of instant pudding in the back of the cupboard, that is rumoured to have been there for years (and bought only because it was on clearance for 25 cents). English Toffee pudding by a Doctor Oetker. It claims to be European inspired with no artificial flavours. The box made it look fancy. Is it possible to have fancy instant pudding? Let's watch Olivia 'cook' and see the results.

You have to admire her honesty - even when it is her 'cooking'.

COOKING WITH OLIVIA

OLIVIA SHOWS US HOW TO COOK PERFECT PEROGIES!

Pine Tree Press | Cooking

Cooking is an art. It takes years to master. That is why the Place Under the Pine likes to start 'em early and encourages the young folks to join in whenever there is some baking or cooking going on. This hands on experience builds cooking confidence, and in the case of Lolli, the confidence to take on the challenge of cooking perogies. And, not just any ol' perogies, but, Perfect Perogies. Let's see how she does...

Cooking With Olivia - Perfect Perogies - 2015 Episode 1

The feedback on Lolli's Perfect Perogies was all positive. Combined with the sour cream, right from the container, the entire batch was eaten up. This has encouraged Lolli to continue working on the fine art of cooking.
